Jennian Homes New Zealand Track & Field Championships

Having photographed the sport from the first day I bought a camera, this is my subject of choice when out in the field. Athletics has a personal connection to me and has done since my youth.
The following images are a small series from the Jennian Homes New Zealand Track & Field Championships hosted by Athletics Wellington at Newtown Park in Wellington in mid March of 2024. New Zealand’s best showed for this domestic finale, before those who qualified for the Paris Olympic Games ventured off for their pre-Games camps. These images were from a spectator viewpoint, seeing as I did not apply for a media credential for this championship session.
